Hi, everyone.
I just found out that I'll be heading over to Osan AB early next summer (June). I was just wondering, if there's a any way to change my RNLTD so that I can get there earlier than my original date. I'm thinking around next spring if at all possible. This might sound like a stupid question. But I have little or no knowledge about PCSing / military orders, I'm still very new to the military. Thank you for your help! - Paul - |

Re: Changing RNLTD?
Its a pretty easy process. You can go under the assignments section on vMPF and there is an online worksheet to change your RNLTD. You're loosing commander must approve it, and then I think it goes to AFPC and your gaining unit.
I think there are some restrictions to how early you can report. I think Korean assignments might only approve reporting 1 month earlier unless you have unusual circumstances. I got my assignment bumped up a month with no problems. |

Re: Changing RNLTD?
Or just work it through your supervisor and orderly room/commander. It is easier to get permission to report in earlier than to report in later, if your current command has no issue in releasing you early.
