Damned Aafes!!
Well if you did not hear the "Big Story" from aafes. They has a sale on ACU's, a complete set (top and bottom) for $12.20 on-line only.
So I go and check the on-line store out and yep they are on sale for $12.20 a complete set. I buy 4 sets to complete my military obligation. I get home watching a AFN channel and across the bottom comes a message that says we are sorry for the problem (wrong price on-line for ACU's) and refunds will be given and no orders will be filled.  They screwed up and I think they should send out the ACU's!!

I saw that on the TV and wondered what it was. They should have to at least give one pair at that price. Isn't that the rule in the states if a store misprices something on the shelf, they have to sell you one but they don't have to sell more than one?

Don't get me started on AAFES! It took me 5 months to get a PT uniform! I went to the BX to pick up a PT uniform because last year we were required to. They had empty shelves and a sign that stated "Sorry but we are out, we expect more next month." Well, the next month cam and nothing happened except the sign. The month was changed for another month! This happened for 5 months! I had to borrow a friends gear for 5 months. These uniforms are made by prisoners. Am I mistaken to think there are plenty of prisoners in America? AAFES managers simply ordered too small of quantities and the clerks kept saying, "Next month," for 5 months.
Now I am dealing with the SAME problem getting the old BDUs. They havebeen sold out for months!!!!

Hey, I'm just happy you guys saw our TV crawler. I heard that down at Humphreys they actually sold several pair at that price to people who came in the store.
