Re: AFN Commercials
You know...I could make a thread about this but I choose just posting on this one....
I gotta admit that the AFN commercials do tell the truth & give Very good examples about sexual incidents, driving safely & among other subjects..... One of the commercials I love is the new one....where there's a guy riding a bike with some camcorder attached to the motorcycle..and he's riding pass a few cars & sometimes crossing the line and riding on the other side of the road...then finally when he comes around a corner, he hits(or nicks) another motorcyclist coming the other way & it shows the bike spinning outta control. I applaud that one right there!! Great Production & Great Idea to show what could happen if you think riding a motorcycle is like in the Movies! Also I like the Road Rash commercial where there's a man at a fruit stand with an apple in his hand. He scrapes the apple across the road & shows us the apple skinned one 1-side.....That just made my skin crawl..and that's the effect it should have on everyone. They should show some of these commercials on regular TV in the states..but I guess they tell too much TRUTH when it comes to these kinda subjects. It would scare the hell outta some people but that's the point! To teach them HOW BAD things can get if you do this & what could happen if you do that.... I should record these commercials & show them to my kids when they get older...it'll save me alotta grief & worry during their teen years... |

Re: AFN Commercials
I agree with you, but I was not talking about being informative. I was talking more on the lines of, why a E-2 getting pulled over for DUI? A E-2 cannot even drive in Korea unless he is command sponsored. Can that happen? Sure but there are ALOT more 20 year old 1st and 2nd LT's running around than Command sponsored E-2's....
