Question on FSTE to ETS
I AIPed for 12 month and my now DERO date is 2009 Oct-14. My ETS date is 2010 Jun-14, 8 month from my Dero date.
I already moved my wife back to Asia and I have no intention to re-enlist. I want to stay in korea and ETS from korea, so I don't have to move everything back to the states and then move right back to Asia again. I asked somebody and was told because I AIPed already, I can not FSTE or army will take all money back from AIP, and my only option is to hope that i get involuntary FSTE. Please let me know what my options are or what I can do on my part to stay here and ETS from here. If i can apply for FSTE when should i start working on it. |

Re: Question on FSTE to ETS
Who did you ask?
You need to get the information straight from someone who is an expert on these matters. Your unit S-1 NCOIC should know the answer, and if not, he/she should be able to easily find out the official answer. Anything you get here will essentially be like asking another "somebody" who might or might not be able to give you a good answer. |
