Anyone from Air Force Finance here?

Aloha,
Super quick mil pay question. I'm serving a short up at Yongsan. Are AF folks still getting HDP-L (Hazard Duty Pay) in the amount of $50/month up here? The USFK Pay Manual (2007) indicates we do; however, I've been here since Feb and haven't gotten it.
Thanks in advance!

Not from finance but........yes you should still be getting "hardship" pay not "hazardous" pay at $50 a month. I know this because the end of month pay statement came out yesterday and we got it! As usual. PS....best get with finance and find out why they have 'stiffed' you $150 so far!

Re: Anyone from Air Force Finance here?

Thanks for the quick reply. And since I almost get run over by scooters on the sidewalk every day, I think "hazardous" applies!
Looks like I've got some retro-pay coming to me.

Thanks again!

Yea, $50 a month....

Click on Military in Korea and I have posted a "STICKY" about the pay in Korea.

Re: Anyone from Air Force Finance here?

Thanks much. This situation isn't abnormal... I can't walk past the finance office without my pay getting jacked up. Story of my career...

Re: Anyone from Air Force Finance here?

I think it's listed as SAVE pay. If you elected to do KAIP, the payments are lumped together.
