Joongwon public CC

I reserved the tee-time on Monday 2 weeks ago, around 9:52a.m.
We can click the tee time from 10:00a.m thru the internet, but I can click it from 9:50a.m. since I didn't reserve it for 3 months.
We need to put the deposit money, Won 150,000, for the penalty if we didn't make the reserve.
This public club is one of the most profitable country club in Korea including private clubs.

They used to allow 27 holes including Saturday but they change the system and can play 18 holes only for Saturday nowadays.
It's a bit far from Seoul, around 80Km, and need to drive ond and half hours from the cosmopolitan area through the No.55 express way.

There're a lot of ups and downs, narrow fairway, so we need tactics to save par and also need an accurate shot to avoid OB and hazard.
My tee-time was 9:55 and completed around 15:00 with 91 shots.
I shot 1 OB, 3 hazard
I can't complain weather, players, caddie and anything but myself.
I took the breakfast around 8:30 and take some snack during the break after the out course, but failed to control my shot without having my regular lunch around 12 noon

I know the meal is very important for me to control the physical condition especially for my diabetes.
It's a bit hot in Seoul, but it's a really cool there cause of the heights of the CC.

Cool Re: Joongwon CC

Sounds like a nice day! Please don't forget to eat if you have diabetes!
When I was 50 I retired for a while, after the Air Force and working for EG&G at Nevada test site for a while. But I got tired of being retired, and went into civil service! I still take some time for myself on weekends, which seems sufficient for me. I would like to set up a trip to Cheju again one of these days.

please don't miss the Woo-do(Woo Island).
I visited the Jeju Island 3~4 times, heard that the Woo-do is really a scenary but failed to drop by always.

If you want to go to a mountain near Kyounggi area, please feel free to call(cell: 019 296 5077) me and I'll come to you to join during the weekend.

Have a great fun in Jeju!
