Forum Upgrade - What's New?

You will notice a lot of new changes to the forum. I will post them here. This will be an evolving thread, then I will send out a bulk news letter when it is complete.

Forum Upgrade
The overall forum software has been upgraded. It may look the same, but under the hood their are many changes. Some of the changes you will notice are:

1. Attachments are now previewed. When you attach a photo there will be an auto preview attached instead of the text.gif type look.

2. When you post a new thread there are now additions to the editor. You will notice a font editor, text size, text color, smiles, undo, redo, etc in the editor.





3. There is now a spell check integration when posting messages. This is optional. Simply click on the spell check button

As an addition to this.

The spell check function is only available if you are using IE.

If you use Firefox or Opera or any other browser then the spell check function will not appear. This is because is uses some exclusive microsoft functions to determine the spelling errors.

I was trying to read the newer writing contest entries. I clicked on the one marked Ervin or something like that, but can't get to the story-just jumped tothe new forum-an attempt to find it in the new forum failed. Appears to be lost link to writers of contest.
