Forum Rules: Please read!

Below are the general rules and guidelines for USFK Forums. This will be part of the agreement for all new members to become part of the site. Comments appreciated.

GENERAL

a. All members are expected to conduct themselves in a mature manner while on the site. Respect for other members is a REQUIREMENT! Respecting YOU is a requirement for our current members.

b. Profanity, name-calling, aggressive or flaming postings will not be tolerated, either in posts or in your signature block. You will be given a warning for this offense and repeated offenses could result in being banned from the site.

d. All members should read the “pinned” posts at the beginning of each and every forum at USFK Forums to become familiar with what is expected of users in that forum.

e. Members are permitted to have ONE and only ONE User ID. Multiple ID’s will not be tolerated. Any member found with more than one User ID will be asked which they prefer to keep and all others will be deactivated. Failure to respond to a request by the Staff regarding multiple IDs will result in ALL ID’s being deactivated or suspended.

f. Please! Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with ALL of the Forums and the way the site works before you begin posting. There is no rush for you to get started as we will be here for quite some time to come! Also, our Moderators are available to assist you in any manner and to answer any questions you may have. We want your experience here to be a great one!!

Forums and Moderators

a. USFK Forums is divided into major sections called “Forums”. Each forum contains information on a specific subject. Each forum is moderated by Moderators. The USFK Forums Team is here to help you in any way possible and to provide guidance and direction. The Team’s primary duty is to provide a safe environment for discussion. Please feel free to contact any member of the Team by email or PM at any time.

b. Each member of the USFK Forums Staff is identified by a distinctive icon in their User ID panel (where the avatars are located). The Staff is identified by icons located directly below their avatar.

Advertising, Spamming, and Linking to Other Sites

a. NO advertising is permitted at USFK Forums without the expressed consent of the Founder. USFK Forums is more than willing to work with others on mutually beneficial advertising. Unauthorized advertising includes posting to attract membership at other sites, posting to advertise, linking to such sites in the signature block, or posting to gain personal benefit from or as a promotion for any other site. Business advertisements also fit this category and any links or references to an on-line or physical store will be removed, unless an arrangement has been made with Site Management. Violations of this guideline will result in the post being removed, the signature block edited, and the poster notified of the violation. Repeated violations will result in warnings and eventual banning from the site.

b. All members are allowed to place a signature link to their USFK Classifieds affiliate account. After posting your ads on the classifieds go to "your Info" and copy the "Your Affiliate URL Link". Place that link into your signature and USFK Forum members will be allowed to go directly to your listings.

c. Personal web pages are expected to be kept in a professional manner and should not contain material or links to material that could be considered unsuitable for younger members. USFK Forums assumes that members will properly warn any visitor to their site should that site contain objectionable material and USFK Forums cannot be held responsible for content of webpages not directly controlled by USFK Forums.

d. ANY form of “spamming”, to include flooding the forums with the same post, emailing multiple members with the same email, Instant Messaging members, and other forms of unwanted contact will not be tolerated. When you contact another member or post in a forum, be certain you have something to say. If you are busy with something else when you receive an IM, please let the other person know POLITELY that you are otherwise engaged at the present time. Many members conduct schoolwork, business, and other activities online NOT associated with USFK Forums and may be involved in that when you contact them, please be respectful of that.

e. If you feel you have a good link to offer the members please submit it to the links directory. If it is a good link it will be approved by a moderator.

GALLERY

a. All members are allowed to place images into the gallery. These images will be linked from your profile. There is no limit to how many images a member may have. No nudity or offensive images are allowed.

Any questions about this set of guidelines should be directed to the Moderators of the appropriate forum or a member of Site Management for a determination.

ALL MEMBERS are expected to review and understand these rules prior to posting on USFK Forums. If there is something in these Guidelines that you do not understand or are unsure about, please take the time to ask a member of the SCS Team for a clarification. By posting on the site, you agree to our terms and conditions and affirm that you have read and understand our policies and procedures and agree to abide by them as long as you are an active participant on the site.
