Mike says we will hit 2000 MEMBERS by next week!
We can discuss a get- together or whatever anytime!
Let's talk about where we would like to meet and celebrate something soon!
I was thinking Halloween or Thanksgiving or any occassion. Who will be available, and where and when? Discuss. I'm guessing Saturdays?

Cold may not be far away! Yeah, I asked Mike if he could break down the active forum population by area- I'm certain Osan is the best place by location, but maybe only 10 or 15 people can actually get together on a particular day? Mike would like to set up free drinks at a bar off post.
We do have members without ID cards or access to the base. Let's say a Saturday would draw the most people. Can we get a rough count who can come on a Saturday? A poll might be in order with best time, date, place, etc.?
Probably another meeting in Seoul or small group meeting at each Post or Base is a possibility later on.

We'd definitely try to make it but if it were at a bar we'd have problems. We've got two kids and don't know anyone worthy of babysitting...lol.

I'm with Ms Price on this one. On top of that I don't think a bar would be the best place for a pregnant person to be. I hate getting "the look" from people ":) Why not at some place like the Pizza Club. It doesn't cost anything for the building, you just pay for what you eat.

keep talking it up- Explain the Pizza Club for us out-of-towners?
My thought is usually the girls are the best organizers and normally it is best to give them a free rein...
The guys who enjoy beer busts can set up something another day at the VFW
Club or something.

It could become something like our Seoul Computer Club- every second Saturday at the USO near Yongsan Gate 1. 2PM Free pizza and soft drinks.
we just send out an email the day before as a reminder-somehow all the Pizza gets eaten, even if only 8 or 10 show up?

Pizza club is a place off base, sorta across from Korea Realty. I've noticed a lot of functions go on there. There are 3 (?) private rooms, and as I said you don't pay for the room, just what you eat/drink. I'm having my kids' B-Day party there soon I'll have to let you know how it goes. I like the pizza and the people are really nice.
