I am starting out the New Year with the potential for any member to win up to $300 in cash and prizes!

RULES
1. You can submit as many articles as you want!
2. There is no length requirement, but all articles should be of good quality (3-5 paragraphs recommended)
3. All articles must include at least one picture
4. All articles must be submitted through the articles area of USFK Forums in the Jan 06 Contest section
5. This contest will run until 1 Feb 06. The winner will be announced on 7 Feb 06.
6. All articles must be related to Korea in some way. You can write about living in Korea, driving in Korea, teaching in Korea, the Korean War or anything else that comes to mind.
7. You do not have to live in Korea to enter this contest
8. All members must reply to this thread stating that they are in the contest
9. All members must e-mail or PM me when they submit their articles. This is important! Please only submit one time. Many people get an error after they submit to the articles. The error does not mean your article was not submitted. Please contact me and I will notify you that your submission was received.

The rules are subject to change at anytime.

PRIZES
The more members that submit an article, the more money can be won! At least 10 members must submit an article for this contest to pay out any money. Here is how the prizes will be awarded.

The first place winner will win a BMW Fountain pen (from bmwinkorea.com) worth over $100 regardless of how many people enter this contest. I will upload a picture of the pen and case soon.

If at least 10 members submit an article, then the first place winner will also receive 100,000 Won. Again, at least 10 members must submit an article for any money to be paid out. After that I will add 2,000 Won to the first place price for each member that submits an article after the first 10 entries.

For example, if 20 members submit an article, the first place prize will be 120,000 won. If 30 members submit an article, the prize money will be 140,000 won and so on. This will stay this way until the 200,000 won maximum is reached (60 contestants).

REFERRED MEMBER BONUS
I will also pay out a 25,000 won bonus to the person that referred the winner. So, if you referred a member to USFK Classifieds and he or she wins, you will be rewarded 25,000 won! Use our referral program to invite your friends and look at the referral board to see who you have referred.

So, the more contestants to better! Please forward this link to any of your friends and tell them to place your user name in the "referred by" box to get credit.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE
1. Go to the articles section of this forum or click here.
2. Click on "Submit an article"
3. Fill in the Article Title
4. Fill in the Article Summary
5. Select "Article of the Month Contest - Jan 06" for the Category
6. Ad an article icon. Please do not make this larger that 200 pixels tall or wide
7. Paste your article into the Article Content box. Please use a spell checker before pasting your article!
8. Upload up to 5 other pictures you feel will be relevant to your article.

If you get an error, it is ok! Simple submit the article and PM or e-mail mike@usfkclassifieds.com after you submit. I will notify you if you need to submit again. Please DO NOT keep resubmitting after you get an error!

Ok, I got three more entries today! I will publish 1-2 a day until I publish all three. The first one published an article titled Getting Around in Korea by Ethen. Hopefully, he will sign up with the forums to make it official and I can assign the article to his profile instead of mine.
