This is crazy!

A military jury ignored an Air Force captain's plea for leniency Wednesday, sentencing him to 50 years in prison for raping four men and attempting to rape two others.

The sentence was delivered a day after nine Air Force officers serving on Capt. Devery L. Taylor's court-martial jury found him guilty of all charges against him for drugging and kidnapping servicemen and others he met in bars. Taylor was dismissed from the Air Force and will not be eligible for parole for 20 years.

Good I wish that more rapist would would get hard punishments. I bet he'll get his in prision.

For some reason I get the feeling that he was punished more because they were men. Do you think he would have gotten 50 years if he had raped 4 women? I doubt it.

I know your right. Isn't it sickening. Unfortunately If it had been females he might of gotten 20, and thats probably pushing it. But there is an important lesson here Don't leave your drink unattended and stop drinking so much you can't remember!

Yep! the enlisted kid got 4 years. He was drunk out of his mind. That was no excuse.
There is no reason for disparity of sentence length that we are privy to in these cases.
The homo officer will be eligible for parole in 10, was it?
He was a predator, with criminal intent. More than once, with more than one victim. He is the kind of person that causes queer people to get beat up and disliked. (I can say queer instead of gay. I don't supervise anyone.) They, like other handicapped people, should be judged on their individual merits.
But personally, I believe they deserve no parking spot, no special treatment, no insurance breaks, nor any other "rights" that a "spouse" might deserve if
someone with a license "marries" two of them.
An old Navy Chief I knew was not as kind. He had known of many in the Navy. His belief was that homosexuals were the reason God allows Aids.
