The small group are farmers left over from the Pyontaek land takeover: The large one I believe has to do with Free trade and/ or Unification.
USFK has the list somewhere on their website. It happens often nowadays, they just talk on a microphone and wave banners. They show up for a couple of hours and then leave. It screws up traffic in the area, because the police bring buses and additional guards. It is a sign of a free country... |
