How do I add images to my posts?

There are two ways to add images to your posts.

OPTION 1

First, you can add images that are hosted on other servers or sites. Find the image you want to add to your post (on a website somewhere else). Right click on the images and select properties. In your post, click on the place you want the image to show up. Click on the image icon in the toolbar:

You will be asked to paste in the URL or property of the image. Paste it in and select ok. It will look something like this with IMG tags around it.

When you submit your post the image will show up with your message.

I added a new feature where you can wrap the test around your image like an article. Read this thread to learn how.

OPTION 2
If you have an image on your computer you can upload it to the site. Click on manage attachments and upload your image. When you submit your post a thumbnail image will show up that members can click to see the full image.

I only see MANAGE ADD-ONS. Not MANAGE ATACHMENTS. It is hard for me to understand. Can you spell it out step by step for me? I want to move a photo from my pictures or desktop to the forum post, and/or to the Gallery.

Joe,

When you start a new post or reply to a post you should have an Additional Options section just below the Submit Reply and Preview Post buttons. In that section you should have Miscellaneous Options and then Attach Files areas. In the Attach files section there should be a Manage Attachments button.

When you click on this button it should ask you to upload files. You can upload images, videos, etc.

If you are trying to add images to the gallery, you simply click on Upload Images in the gallery navigation bar. It will ask you to upload up to 8 images or videos with descriptions and titles.

If you don't see these options please let me know!

Duh!

OK! I found the manage attachments. I had to "Go Advanced", I was trying to do it from
"Quick Reply" and that didn't work.

I don't know what "PARSE Links Automatically" means.
I don't know what "STICK" a thread means.
I don't know how to elimimate an open Quick Reply message block when it shows up after a Page 2 indication shows up. Sometimes someone will reply and it gets out of order.
(My friend (?) once said you can build an entire universe out of things I don't know!)

I figured out how I could load photos into the Gallery; but when I went back to change titles, etc. I still have trouble with rotating photos 90 degrees and/ or reversing images... I somehow got the new post office image reversed and the Korean writing is backwards! I failed to get it reversed again. Most people won't know the difference, but Eddie and Shsong will beat me up! Oh Well!
Aloha!
