... Find Housing
Hi, I was wondering how to find housing in Pyongtaek? Do you need a realtor to find a rental? Is it possible to find a house instead of condo? I looked at the USFK Classified site, and was wondering if there are more sites with the same information. I might be moving to Pyongtaek from Hawaii for a job at Camp Humphrey's and am in need of some serious information regarding housing. It takes almost two months to find a decent rental in Hawaii, and I was concerned it would be the same there? I would appreciate any assistance/information, thank you and mahalo

Generally speaking, there is plenty of housing. Apartments are normally chosen for various reasons. One, I like the underground or covered parking, and the security of a guard at the entrance. The newer apartments are nice. Most have a gym, or pool, and a place for kids to play. Houses are available, but may be farther out from the post. If you desire a garden or have large dogs, go for it. Korea has everything you desire, if you are willing to drive a ways to find it. Welcome to our forum!

Re: ... Find Housing
I agree with Mr. Joe. Most people use realtor's that I know of.
Pyongtaek is a nice area of S. Korea.. IMO. I think you can look on nicerent.com, however not sure how current the listings are, I just know there are plenty of them and also will give you an idea of housing over here. |
