Babel Fish betrayed ya... it translates things using the most literal translations for each word in the sentence - and doesn't take into consideration the context within which the words are used. So the expression "hot babe" is translated as "뜨거운 아기" which literally means "a baby that is hot (to the touch)."

That expression as you have said it is written as: 조금만 기다리세요.

Another very common variation: 잠깐만 기다리십시오 (jam-ggan-man ki-da-ri-ship-shi-yo).

Very helpful tips!

But sometimes, learning these quotes inadvertantly prolongs the conversation as the crazy caller begins to ask you more questions like, "Huh? This isn't _____'s phone? Do you know his new number? When did you start using this number? Who are you?"

Therefore...I went back to my "Hello? Hello? Hello? Huh? What? I don't understand what you're saying."
