Agashi is an unknown quantity at this point
Thanks Mike, that's good, but just one question. Is telephone really
Chon hwa gee
or just Chon hwa?
I thought it was just Chon hwa.

I know that the verb "to call" is Chon hwa ha da.

I bet if you ask a Korean and even look into a dictionary, they'll probably say "it's the same thing" (with or without the "Gi" after the "Jeon Hwa", but I think "Jeon Hwa" means "call" (as a verb) and "Jeon Hwa Gi" is the actual telephone device itself. For example, a cordless phone is a "Mu Seon Jeon Hwa Gi".

Oh...new word: "Mu Seon" = Cordless/Wireless

Just a few tips/opinions...

Table: also depends on what type of table. "Sahng" is (but not always; generally) one of those floor tables you see Koreans eat on while sitting on the floor. Sometimes it's even called a "Bahp Sahng", which literally means "eating table". A dining table (one with chairs), I believe, is called a "Shik Tahk".

Chair: tricky pronounciation. Say the word "bookie" minus the b & k sound from it... "oo-ie". Then add the "Jah" at the end.

Sofa...well, it's a Japanese way of pronouncing the English word "sofa". I'd say it sounds more like "Show-pah" or more like "Shyoh-Pah"

The fridge...neng-jahng-GOH

Pretty tough stuff...but fun!
