Lesson 1. JAKSAL

Today, I would like to teach you about very useful Korean expressions.
It could be used in various situations to break an ice when it comes to speaking. I know there are many ways to compliment other peoples regarding colthes and shoes to be sociallized. Well, It is widely used especially in younger generations to express how cool something is. Jaksal means a fish spear and a gig in Korean. It means deadly cool or Phat .

Example)

Jane: I've bought a new cloth. What do you think?
Youngbuck: JAKSAL YEE E YO. - causual (in same age group)
JAKSAL YEEB NEE DA. - formal to senior ( in senior age group)
JAKSAL YEE GUN YO.
- That's so cool !
-You look great

Restaurant

Jane: I'm liking a juicy stake,
Youngbuck: It looks JAKSAL YEE E YO.
It smells Jaksal YEE E YO.

It looks so delicious. yummy yummy

안녕하세요 !

'작살' 이라는 말은 표준어가 아닙니다. 일부 젊은 학생이 쓰는 속어일뿐입니다.
