Lesson 6. Talk to Cab driver !

This might be useful expressions when you are communicating with cab driver. There are free-interpreters which is helpful sometimes. But I personlly do not think you could get any benefits by calling that number.
There are expressions that make you a lot easier to communicate with cab driver.

1. SAM CHON , SU GO HASIB NI DA.
-> Mr, How are you ( It literally means keep up the good work or something, but In this context it is just saying hi or how are you)
삼촌 , 수고 하십니다.
-> I can't excatly match with english expression. Becasue It generally means keep up the good work. It is very common expression like korean version of how are you. You are just saying it, but I doesn't mean anything special. It is literally appreciating persons work by greeting him.
You might wanna try this expression to GATE guards in post or any korean base personnell for a trial. It could be used to anyone in general to greet someone. If you're hop in the cab by saying "SU GO HASIBNI DA". You will kill two birds with one stone by greeting and appreciating his work in general.

2.. SAM CHON, NAM DAE MOON URO KA JU SE YO .
삼촌, 남대문으로 가주세요.
(KA JU SE YO = Go )
->Chief, Could you take me to the NAMDAE MOON.

3. YEO GEE SE WOO SE YO
여기 세우세요.
- Please, Stop right there.
I guess he will understand words "stop" in elglish.

4. Burgerking APE SEO SE WOO SE YO
- 버거킹 앞에서 세우세요.
> Please, stop in front of BURGERKING.

5. JEONGMOON APE SEO SE WOO SE YO
-정문 앞에서 세우 세요.
- Please ,stop at the main gate

6. HEYONG NIM, PALI PALI KAJUSEYO.
-> 형님, 빨리빨리 가주세요 .
->If you are worrying about curfew violation or If you're in a hurry,
You might use this expression for asking him for speeing up his cab to whereever you go. HEYONG NIM means something like Chief. It makes him feel good. He will drive taxi like car racer from NASCAR , only use this for an emergency like curfew violation or something.
