There is a new movie coming out in Korea on 13 July called the The Korea Peninsula. Here are the details and the trailer. Damn those evil Japanese!

HANBANDO. Top action director Kang Woo-seok (Public Enemy 1&2, Silmido, Two Cops) is bringing together some highly rated actors to appear in a complex drama involving the unification of the two Koreas. It seems, in this film from Cinema Service, that North and South Korea are on the verge of unification, but Japan not wanting its neighbor united into one country, disrupts the proceedings and the stability of East Asia. Ahn Sung-ki (Silmido, Duelist) takes the role of the Korean President and other actors include Jo Jae-hyeon (The Isle, Sword In The Moon), Cha In-pyo (Iron Palm, Dr. K), Moon Sung-keun (Virgin Stripped Bare By Her Bachelors, Road To The Racetrack), Kang Shin-il (Shimido, Sword In The Moon), Kim Sang-jun (Jakarta, Maria And The Inn) and Kang Su-yeon (Girls' Night Out, Blackjack). Started shooting in fall 2005, and currently scheduled for a July 13 release.
