MTV to launch MTV K for Korean music
Anyounghaseyo~
I just wanted to share a very exciting piece of news with you all. I heard that MTV is launching MTV K for Korean music this month...! I'm so excited and cannot wait for this to happen. Finally we have a channel dedicated to us, and I'm so proud of my fellow Koreans here in the U.S. to have achieved this status. I think that we have come a long way although we do have lots more to go. Anyway, if you don't believe me...you should check out the Web-site: www.mtvk.com They have the coolest music videos, and they let you vote for your favorite one...! |

Welcome to the site kp_pride! Also, thanks fir sharing the news on the K MTV. Kpop is getting big around the world and MTV is smart enough to produce a channel dedicated to it.

Are you saying there is going to be a Korean version of MTV available in the States?
MTV Korea has been on the air in Korea for years, so I'm assuming that's what you mean. |

LOL..Sorry, yeah, I'll admit it, I'm an old timer,and MTV "purist", who remembers the good old days when they actually used to play *gasp* music on MTV. I wonder if someday they'll have to do a twist on the old "Video Killed the Radio Star" tune that kind of kicked things off for MTV... "Reality killed the Video Star"? :) Dee :) |
