101 Things to do in Gunsan

101. Check out the markets. The fish market, too. Gunsan is famous for it's fish. Sushimi heaven.

100. Check out a movie. Did you know that First run American Blockbuster movies are showing in 2 or 3 theaters in Kunsan City. They show korean subtitles, so it is just like being at the mall movie theater in the states--except that the smell that permeates your nostrils is not popcorn and jujubees, but rather, dried squid. don't be alarmed. it's all fun!

99. Take a harbor ferry to one of the local islands for a day of bike riding, and some ice cream! I did this with my wife, her two sisters and my mother in law. On the ride out to the island, we had brought snacks. They provide a cantina as well. Being the only miguk on board I was hustled to the back of the ferry to join in on the card-playing and soju drinking....they were impressed. Here's a shot of me and the gentleman who plied me with liquid refreshment.

As for the bike ride, guess who had the enviable task of riding a tandem bike with his Mother in Law?!!!
