magicjack and skype work or not?
i've heard about magicjackand skype. i was wondering does anyone currently in Kunsan use either of these. The wife is pingin' about keeping in touch, and she has heard nothing but terrible "juicy girl" stories from other spouses. I'm coming in May,and just want to get a jump on the whole skype/magicjack thing if necessary. Thanks for any advice!!

Just use Yahoo IM. You can make PC to PC calls for free, and Computer to phone calls for 1 cent a minute. You can also hook up your webcam to chat or talk.
Plus...free. |

I have Magicjack and it works fine. The only problem is, it can't be sent from the manufacture to an over seas location. However, you can send it to your home adress and have your wife forward it. It's cheap to, I think I paid $39 and it covered the whole year.

just be prepared if magicjack ports get blocked. it was working in one of the bldgs in osan but 2-3 wks ago stopped,not sure if its the server or definitely blocked by ISP

skype is free...and does not use VOIP so cant be blocked...
best way to go and already save us big $$$ |

Skype is good, Yahoo IM is good and both are free pc-to-pc.
Vonage phone service is also available, but you have to pay for that.
