Pride 31: Dreamers

They matched Yoon, Dong Sik with Quinten Jackson?? I know Yoon's doing pretty well and I'm all for the "Go Korea!" and all...but Jackson, "The Rampage!", is going to crush him!

Here are my predictions; winners in bold (the people I know only):

Mark Hunt vs Yosuke Nishijima

Mark Coleman vs Mauricio Rua

Sergei Kharitonov vs Alistair Overeem

Quinton Jackson vs Dong Sik Yoon

Pride 31 Dreamers on Channel XTM this Sunday, 26 Feb 06, 1530 hrs.

Wow! I was really impressed with Yoon, Dong Sik fighting against Quinten "Rampage" Jackson. I thought for sure he'd get knocked out, but he lasted all the way through. At certain points, he came so close to beating him, too!

Even though he lost by the judges' decision, Korea should still be proud he was able to endure Jackson for those three rounds. Go Korea!!

Hunt vs Nishijima Slugfest Extreme ! I give it up for both fighters, very impressive fight.
Nogueira vs Tamura Did you have any doubt? 1st round armbar, great tecnique and back control. True Jiu Jitsu specialist.
Overeem vs Kharitonov Good call Mikey but I thought for sure that Russian Sambo would just dominate over that Mui Thai.
Barnett vs Nakamura Sad display of tecnique in Jiu Jitsu and Pro-Wrestling but shocking finish! Barnett with a rear naked choke....Cool.
Einemo vs Werdun I knew how hard he was training so the end result, Werdun was hamburger! there was enough blood gushing for 2 infusions.
Hammer vs Shogun You can never count out the Hammer, like Coutoure ALL HEART! Got ya on this one Mikey..........I hope that Shogun's elbow is alright.
Kosaka vs Sperry Any given day right? That was a good hook... we both lose on this one.
Rampage vs Yoon Dong Sik This was an excellent display of tecnique coupled with pure heart! I think the crowd got their moneys worth with this fight.

Hunt vs Nishijima...that one was my favorite!

Coleman vs Shogun...that was the most shocking. It happened so fast, even I was yelling at the ref, "What the hell are you doing?! Why stop the fight!?"

The first fight had me go, "OOoooooo!!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!"

I wish I could have seen it!

Overeem has always impressed me with his flying knees!

What about the Pedro "The Rock" Rizzo (Brazil) Roman Zentsov (Russia) fight?

Mike

Roman and Pedro...........must have missed that one? kind of busy yesterday, did you catch it superman?
and the Hammer vs Shogun match, did you catch the fireworks after the ref called it? I thought for sure the Hammer House was going to bring down the House. Confirmed by medical............. Shogun broke his R elbow.

Oh yeah! Roman & Pedro...first match...must have lasted about 10 seconds before Roman knocked him out with one punch!!!! It sure pays to be Fedor's sparring partner.

Hehe! The "fireworks" were cool! Shogun's team tried to bum rush the Hammer! That was awesome!!! Afterwards, Coleman still got up on the ropes and raised his arms to the crowd, who all cheered him on.

...catching that elbow in slow motion...ew!
