Fedor hardly broke a sweat in that fight.
IMO, I think fat people are easy to beat up. With all due respect, they tend to be clumsy, slow, out of shape, no energy (endurance), and a bit of 'I've fallen and can't get up' goes into play. Getting hit by them feels like getting hit by a hard pillow or like someone with boxing gloves on. It seems like in Asia, they think fat people are dominant in strength and can beat up anyone. I remember whenever I got into fights in Korea, the big fat guy steps out with a smirk on his face like its supposed to intimidate me while everyone is like, "Oooooh! He's in trouble now!" ![]() |

The video is a perfect example of what a straight right and a left hook combination can do for you. The right hand brought the big man's right hand down and the left was right on the chin. Only because of the pure size of the big man did he not get knocked out by the first left hand.
It was also obvious that the big man didn't feel comfortable on his back. Why get up so fast? Even in boxing you have 10 seconds. In Pride you can lay on your back and defend until the ref stands you up (thus protected). The big man should have learned a little bit of ground defense. He can use his size against untrained fighters on the street, but not in Pride!

I'm sure it brought tears to the big guy's eye.
