This was a BS fight, espically after watching the entire fight with both interviews prior to the fight.

This is the first time in 11 YEARS for Gracie to be in the ring. BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS

It's his st UFC appearnce in 11 years. He supposedly fights in Japan once a year. Dana White mentions this several times during his interview.

Royce Gracie has fought 15 fights in the past 11 years. He fights in pride and Brazilian Vale Tudo tournaments.

Not a BS fight.... I was cheering for Royce but Matt was the better man that night. Royce is not indestructible, he's just a man.

Royce was far from "rusty." As Charlie said, he had 15 fights. Honestly, Pride is at a higher level of competition in my view. The money is higher so the talent follows. Also, I believe the UFC restrict fighters to the UFC. I don't think Pride has that restriction.

As Mike said, A different and yet higher level of competition. Got some intel on Royce from my buddy, he only had opportunity to train on an average of once a week for the past 4 months.
Not a good way to go into the UFC.

Never said Royce was. He fights once or twice a year for 11 years and then only get to train one month out of 4 for this fight?

Higher caliber of fighting or not, you cannot go into a fight like that and train only 1 month out of 4.

If Royce would have gotten a real chance to train, do you think he would have done better?

Royce is Royce, the Gracie's in general are just a separate breed. They are all talented in their own ways, some more than others.
Have you ever gotten off 30 days leave and did PT for the 1st time in a month? Even push up's, sit up's and a 2 mile run hurt, from what I remember.
I'm sure Royce was dealing with the same things.

Exactally my point, thats why I called it a BS fight. Royce did not seem like he ws even into the fight? Just my opinion

A link to Royce's fight record
http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/f...p?fighterid=19

The best one I like is a win against Ron van Clief Submission (Rear Naked Choke) UFC 4-Revenge of the Warriors 12/16/1994 1 3:59 That was probably one of those BS fights. RVC would of been 60 y/o.
