Hello Everyone! Looks like there is some good interest by some folks to learn Jeet Kune Do. I have decided not to teach it openly at the gym for a couple of reasons. Mainly, because I don't want the MWR to have anything to do with it. I have had very bad experiences with them in the past. Another reason is because of my schedule, and everyone else's around here. I will not always be available on the weekends to train with anyone, and I may decide to go somewhere on a weekend. However, I do have time during the week. Therefore, I will be teaching privately, or semi-privately (meaning there may be more than one or two people training at the same time) whenever we can schedule it, at least once a week, if not twice, or for as many times as we can get in. I have always taught better on a one-on-one basis and I think I can get more accomplished. I would rather spend my time teaching, than dealing with walk-ins and answering questions. Not to mention all the on-lookers. It's bad enough during BJJ class as it is.
Speaking of BJJ, that will still be free and during the week at the base gym (Osan) and I will not be the main instructor as there is a purple belt coming here in April. I will be charging for the classes, but it won't be much, and I am very flexible. If anyone is interested, send me an e-mail at fullblastjkd@inbox.com and we can talk about getting started anytime. So, from this point forward, consider the JKD classes at Osan, open! Bryan

Eddie, you are just not dedicated enough! A true grosshopper would take the bus or train to Osan to learn from a master. Just kidding.

Would you be willing to find a place where we could train there at Yongsan if I came up for a day? I am planning to come up and spend the night there on the 18th. I will probably come up early that day, or rather, early afternoon, and if you want to get together for a couple of hours, that would be great. I am planning on seeing the Seoul night life and take some pictures, so if you are free, let me know!

FullBlastJKD, I could see you doing very well as a small business/instructor in Korea. I would be happy to build you a FREE ad in the classifieds and promote your business. All I ask is that you promote the forums and classifieds in return. Also, no beating on me when I come to class!
Mike
