I'm PCS'ing to Osan from Japan, and I'm trying to figure out the location of a Muay Thai gym thats supposedly close to the base. I fight out here in Japan professionally and just need a spot to train and possibly get a few fights in while I pass my year. I'll admit i'm not very into Korea having visited Seoul before so I need something to keep my sanity until I return to Tokyo. Any help would be graciously appreaciated, my thanks to you forum members.

I'm going to move this question to the Osan Forum since there is no action here-

I just PCSed from Osan in Nov. There was a class going on at the base gym on Mon and Wed I believe. However the instructor has a school downtown, and he usally picks his students from the base up at the main gate. If you contact the base gym they can give you his name and contact number.

I haven't seen a one in Songtan, but I did find one in Osan city. Its on route 1 (the little 1) across from E-mart and about 10 min from base by car. Give them a call when you arrive 031-378-6915.

I am currently in Korea about to end my TCS here (Suwon air base).... then I am PCSing to Osan air base in AUG. of '08. I have been looking for an off post Muay Thai gym. I have a strong ground game and almost no stand up... and Muay Thai has interested me for awhile.
Was wondering if any of you are going to be around in AUG, possibly help me with directions? Is the gym near any of the train stations or is it only accessible by car (bicycle possibly?).

I had a friend that went there. They pick you up at the front gate and drive you there, so I'm assuming it is not close. Check the Osan Base gym for info!
