Hello,

I would like to join the Martial arts forum and I am here to introduce my wonderful self to you all!

I appreciate any advice from more experienced Martial Artists.

To be honest, I am a bit nervous about joining a new club and being the dumb one at the back. I am really challenging myself as I feel confident in all of the other things I take part in, but I know that my level will be very low for a long time as I’m not a teenager anymore!

My level of knowledge and strength is low (for now) but my flexibility, agility and balance; bendable, lithe and poised (for a European-I can manage quite a few of the bendiest yoga poses).

8 months ago, I joined a Martial Arts class at my gym as a purposeful way of keeping fit, but I soon realised how much more it could be! I have been doing Wing Tsun since January this year and I really love it! I am hooked.

As I will be moving to Seoul very soon, I have to continue with this or something similar. I am definitely interested in Taekwondo and other suggestions.

I am hoping to find a friendly, modest, dojo and an art which is holistic (my wing tsun class is self defence, cardio, flexibility and strength training all in one!)

Hope you can help me,

Thanks!
