Here's wishing you a fantastic time in the ROK. Some of the best years of my military and government career were those I spent in Korea. make the most of it, make many friends, including Korean friends, take trips around the country when you can, take many pictures, don't drink too much soju, eat much kimchi, rice and kalbi and have a good adventure! Don't let the chaos of settling in and dealing with bureacracy get you down. Cheers!

One more thing; since you are Osan bound, definitely, definitely, get on a dart team in the SSDA. It is one of the best ways to while away the time and make good friends.
