NCO - Stephen Ikeda
I might've posted this one before, but want to try it again.
I am looking for Stephen Ikeda who used to serve his time in Korea back in (?)~1994. He was an NCO at 2nd ID. I myself was serving in the ROK Army(5th Brigade)when I met him back in '94. We became good friends as we did a lot of war game exercises toghether, especially in DongDoo Chun. Used to sneak me out of my post, and drink our behinds off in his room which was and is gratifying for any ROK Army personnel, if you know what I mean. Am trying to locate/find him to see how he is doing, and possibly get together to catch up on each other. I believe he is originally from Hawaii and was in his mid or late 30s at the time. Would it be possible to find him based on the little information I was able to provide here? If someone can help me out, my name is Steve Chung. I did my time at the 5th Armored Brigade near DongDoo Chun. Although I served in the ROK Army, I was pretty much brought up in Boston all my life. I think Stephen Ikeda should remember that much. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help me out finding this great person that I want to get back in touch with. Hope he is still doing well. I can be contacted via e-mail at sung1229@kornet.net Last edited by csh1229 : 08-13-2008 at 09:46 AM. Reason: added e-mail address |

Re: NCO - Stephen Ikeda
Start with Mike, who is in Hawaii. (mike@usfkclassifieds.com)
If he is Army retired, and you can come up with a Middle name, in case there is more than one, or his age, birthday, the dates he was in Camp Casey, or wherever, one can write to the Army and they may attempt to find him. The Air Force will do that if you send a self-addressed stamped envelope for a reply. What they do is tell him you are looking, and leave it up to him to reply. I don't know the army addresses, but someone can find it for you, I'll bet. |

Re: NCO - Stephen Ikeda
Thank you Mr. Joe.
Unfortunately, I don't know much of his personal details. It would've been nice if I knew Stephen's personal facts. Thanks anyways. Do appreciate your comment. |

Re: NCO - Stephen Ikeda
I found a Stephen Ikeda in the AKO White Pages and relayed your initial post in this thread to him. Of course, it was up to him if he wanted to contact you. He emailed me back and said that he was an LNO to the 5th ROK in 1994 and that he sent you an email.

Re: NCO - Stephen Ikeda
Thank you very much Willy.
In fact, I've received a PM from racegirl20 couple days ago with the similar information. Thanks to you all, I did receive an e-mail from Stephen. It's just amazing what internet can do for us these days. I found a good friend back, and much thanks to USFK Forums. |
