Re: Musicians Corner- FAQ and Roster
I'm very happy to be here. I sing & play guitar and a little mandolin. I mostly play folk, celtic, Irish trad., and a wee bit of blues. Working as a uni instructor in Seoul gives me lots of time to travel and play music here and there. Looking forward to meeting some of you. Great to see you hand dancing on your keyboard Bluefrog. Love your harp playing.
Cheers! Harpeau |

Re: Musicians Corner- FAQ and Roster
Hey guys/gals--
My name's Kevin I'm at the hump. I play guitar. Been playing for 9 and 1/2 years now. Have some stage experience. I'm looking for people to jam with or collaborate and write with. I'm super easy and laid back. No ego and none for you either! A little swagger? Ok, but no ego... I am into damn near anything with 6 strings. Rush is my favorite band, but I just as easily can go into some alternative then pop and then country. John Denver and Metallica. Pink Floyd and Stratovarius. Hootie and the Blowfish and Coheed. I like being versatile and I like like-minded people to be around. Sappy 80s crap to hardcore punk--it doesn't matter. Hopefully I can make some of the time here worthwhile, music wise. Take care! -Kevin |

Re: Musicians Corner- FAQ and Roster
Hi boys and girls;
My name is Glen and I play piano and keys for 8th Army Band at Yongsan. I played clubs for a living throughout the 80's before joining the Army as a mechanic in 1992, and reclassed to piano in 1997. I play just about any style, and I'm looking for fill in work or a regular club gig. I've been playing blues at Woodstock with a Korean band, and it's a blast but we haven't been playing much lately. They're playing on Fridays in Hongdae, and of course I can't go there. Anybody in need of a quality keyboardist, drop me a line. Happy jamming!

Re: Musicians Corner- FAQ and Roster
Hello hello
I'm at Camp Coiner at the USAG/Yongsan living in the barracks. I've Been in Yongsan 2 weeks now, looking for anyone interested in jamming on some "unplugged" ROCK. My percussion setup consists of simply a 14x25 Remo Djembe that I have on a harness with a stand-mounted 18" Sabian Sabor Picante hand crash. I thought I packed an LP egg shaker, but I'll have to buy a new one since it didn't show up with my household goods shipment. I sing a little, but prefer to keep my vocals backing. So if you're an acoustic player into unplugged Alice in Chains, Jars of Clay, Days of the New, the Chris Cornell or Aaron Lewis solo acoustic stuff hit me up; I'm into other music as well and just interested in jamming in general. I like an acoustic setup as I don't have transportation so I'm all about keeping it light and highly mobile. Ideally I'd hook up with an acoustic bass guitar player too and we could do like a trio "rock mariachi" thing; play wherever and whenever. I'm thinking of buying an acoustic bass guitar to be that guy myself... www.myspace.com/mandolarocks to hear me on bass [metal] www.myspace.com/thelegendarydirtsnakes to hear me play drums [punk] hit me up here or PM for my contact info.
