If you go and have a good look through my yahoo 360 blog you will see the many outings I have had and am having....all on my own...so if anyone wishes to link with me one weekend that would be awesome.
I have been here 10 months now...been to - zoo...now that is an experience, temples, confucian villages, shopping, Technology Shop in Yongsan can take all day, bus travel is really cheap and goes everywhere, so do trains, korean movies, movies at American Centre, Military Museum, Baekje tomb and Museum. I have climbed mountains, walked rivers, photographed birds, people stared at the stations and shops, done markets, and tried many restaurants. Now I am bus travelling from coast to coast, and soon going to do some cruises and take some ferry rides. I have recorded everything on photographs which are now available for you to view via my sites... Being alone did not stop me..I have had a great adventure here... There is a heap of things to do, and like I said, public travel is very cheap. http://Ladymaggic.typepad.com http://360.yahoo.com/ladymaggic Now I am running a Travel Talk line using Skype..and invite you to join in..12.00 and 21.00 are my current times. There is a lot to do and see in Korea if you just go wandering...and being female and alone has if anything been great as Koreans are very friendly out of the cities... The 'Lonely Planet" Guide has become my Bible, and I also grab every bit of English Brochures I can..and have a great collection now. Its been a huge adventure...and one lot of 12 months is almost over, and I actually signed up for a further term. Grin!!! ![]()

Very Informative Post!
Thanks for telling us of some of your experiences! I sincerely invite you (and everyone) to join in the latest Forum Writing Contest! There will be monetary prizes up to 200 Won. You could buy more bus tickets! (Note-Type your entry in Word, and then Edit/Copy and Paste to the ARTICLES area later.) Korea is a great place to get out and experience. When I started out riding buses here, (40+ years ago) there were almost no signs in English. It hasn't changed a lot on some bus routes, and most foreigners are afraid they may get lost and never find their way back! You have to be willing to make a few mistakes, and be prepared to stay overnight in Nowheresville if you must! Do get a friend who speaks some Korean to go with you if you are not sure of yourself, but get out in the country and it will be wonderful. (Take camera supplies and extra batteries or a 220v charger.) Put some snacks and a jacket in a back pack and hit the road! Write us about your trips, and post some fun photos in the Gallery! |

Welcome diwatang_langit!
Good to see you posting. There is still a lot of summer left. Maybe you can add to our 101 things to do in Korea.

If your name is an indication you may enjoy some fishing trips this tour! I am interested in both hunting and fishing. The hunting scene is limited in Korea, but there are designated areas. To find out more about fishing, look to the ads on the right side of this message, and click on the Anglerstown Ad! Bring at least one favorite fishing rod! Of course you know the USO has a tour of fishing rod manufacturers here !
We have fishing members on here, also. Hope you will be assigned where you wanted to go, and that it will be as enjoyable as you remember! Put a few photos in our Gallery! Enjoy the trip! |

Re: New Members please read!
What's up? As you can see, I'm the new guy here but not new to Korea. I've lived in Japan for about 7yrs and been on numerous trips there and can't wait to go again. I've only browsed alittle of the site but love it already especially the Korean Celeb. gallery. Well...I'll be working on my profile soooo....C-Ya Later.
