Ajan, Conflicts and Shelly-Welcome. I once lived at Osan for over 3 years! It was OK then, and it is better now! I am now in Seoul.
You will find lots of things to do. This forum can take up an hour or two a day, or more if you play games! Ajan- You will miss your old friends a lot for a while, but new friends will have already surfaced by now! It is part of the game of life! Get a buddy that knows the area and travel some.
Shelly- California is only an Email away! Don't spend all your money on phone calls- your soldier (or Airman) is safer here than in California! (I lived at Lompoc for 8 years). Osan is the best the Air Force has to offer, and Korea is a great place to visit. Come over later if your soldier thinks he/she can show you around. Shop 'til you drop!
Conflicts- enjoy the Forum after you get your homework done! We have lots of games! Our leader, Mike is currently in Hawaii, also. He is looking for help in the game room! Enjoy!

My son is in Korea and never writes, even the occasional e-mail is short but he has vonage and that makes it like a stateside call for him to call us or the other way. Grew up in the bay area still have a sister there
