you can get a room for about 30 a night at a really cheap motel. meals can be about 5 to 7 each. I think 1000 is not really that much. 30 a day for 30 days is 900.

I'm with Dr Worm. Only if you get very lucky or move in with a friend, and can live on ramyon noodles and rice, can you do that in Seoul; if you insist on including the fourth item on your wish list, the answer is no.
I am assuming you are American, or Canadian & not military, and this is your first trip. If you are able to supplement your income by teaching English conversation or have some other talent to use, in return for a room, is it possible.
If you are here on certain tourist visas you need to have enough money to survive, and may be required by the Korean Givernment to show a return ticket. Try to have more money before you come. Vagrants can be arrested and deported!
