Daegu is probably the best secret in Korea. Location is great for travel and far enough away from the flag pole to have fun.

I live and work here at Camp Carroll and have been here a long time. Taegu is about 45 minutes away. It is somewhat laid back, however the miltary support facilities(commissaries, exhange, etc.) are not that great.
