Hello to all.........
Stumbled across this site accidentally and thought wow!
My name is Charles Y. Troglen and I'm no stranger to Korea. My Mother is Korean and my Father is a good old boy from Alabama. Military Brat, yes ! even graduated from Seoul American High School in 1987. Went to Basic Training and A.I.T. and Guess where my 1st duty station was in 1988? Yep.....Yongsan, South Post! 12st Evacuation Hospital at that time. CRAZY HUH? Spent 3 years at the 121st Emergency Room as an E.R. Tech before becoming the 18th MEDCOM Liason at Camp Coiner for a year. Airborne, EFMB, Flight Medic (BlackHawks) 12 out of 15 years overseas (everywhere.) Now I'm back in the ROK! A lot has changed since I left in "94" I think this USFK Forum is pretty cool, I'll spread the news.

Welcome to the forum, Charles! Good to have you. Look forward to your experiences and opinions.
Class of 87 @ SAHS? Cool! ...fellow alumni! I'm sure these names should ring a bell for you then: Mr. O'Brien, the infamous art teacher Mr. Bab****, the Bio teacher who idolizes (and looks like) Darwin CSM Braswell, JROTC...(the only teacher left, basically...except for Ms. Lee the music teacher, but back then she taught SAES) I'd really like to share and remenisce with ya, but... I'm trying to maintain a secret identity here. EDIT: Haha! I like how Mr. B's name got censored! |

What's up fellow Alumni.....
I noticed that about Mr. B.......
CSM Braswell, stopped by the other day to bs.... he's not changed a bit! You forgot Coach Hilgar... Still one of my favorites! I remember the O'briens, had Mrs in SS in 84 - Mr in art 85 loved them both. All time favorite was Mr. Lowery.....had him in the 8th grade SS, and as a senior - English/Lit. Don't want to spoil the identity..................... ![]()
