Hi everyone-

My husband is currently stationed at Osan AB, and we are orginally from Pope AFB were we were stationed prior to him leaving. I'm pregnant with our 1st child so I decided to move back home in Wisconsin so I wasn't all alone. I'm planning on visiting Osan after our daughter is born in Jan. His flight chiefs are being really rude, and he doesn't know if he'll be able to make his midtour for my due date on Jan 28th. Thats military for you though so nothing suprises me anymore. He left on Sept 9th so were very fresh into this tour so I'm just looking for others that are in simililar situations. So far it's going pretty fast, I'm staying busy, this is our 3rd deployment so I'm kinda used to it. Well thanks for listening and I hope to hear from some wives and their experiences

Welcome to the site! I'm in a bit of a similar situation, but not totally. We had our first 6 months ago, and I'm heading to Osan in a couple of weeks. She'll turn 1 when I'm looking at taking my midtour, but you never know. Mission comes first over there, and they don't call it a remote for nothing. It does suck though if they can't even get your hubby back for the birth! Anyway, welcome again, and let me or one of the other mods know if you need anything.

Sorry to hear that your husband might not make it home for the delivery. It is instances like this why good people get out of the military.
