Re: IDMT in Korea

YOu still have time to request a sponsor from the Airmen Family Readiness Center. Check osan.af.mil and contact the AFRC. I don't work in the 25 FS, but I do work with some of the people from there. If you need any help, let me know your rank and such, so I can get the right person to contact you.

Re: IDMT in Korea

Coop,
Our email system won't let us send out email to a hotmail account. You might want to go to www.gimail.af.mil to get another email acct. You can also access gimail from the work computer any time. I just contacted your sponsor. He should be emailing you. If you don't here from him in the next few days, let me know. You might want to get rid of all your information in the post, "Think OPSEC", lol. I really just need to know your name and rank.

Re: IDMT in Korea

Welcome to the site Coop!

It is funny that you talk about not having a sponsor. The USFK commander Gen Bell was just talking about how bad USFK is at welcoming family members coming to Korea.

Welcome to the site. Hopefully someone will help you out soon. If you don't get a sponsor after requesting one I would mention it to your unit commander when you arrive.

Re: IDMT in Korea

Yes, please stay in contact with your sponsor. If you show up at the reception center and your sponsor is not there and they can't get in touch with your sponsor...they call your shirt to come pick you up. They are busy enough around here dealing with all of the other stupidity that goes on...make sure your sponsor is well equipped with your information to make sure you are picked up. And yes, you have to be signed for just like a registered letter....
