Hi ya all
Hi my name is Kristin. I have decided that when my husband goes to Korea my girls and I will be going to. I am scared and excited at the same time. I have never been out of the country, well I went to Niagra Falls once but that was hardly a culture shock. I have been reading the NCS discussions the past couple of days in order to gather information about everything to do with going there to live and it has been really helpful. I can't wait to go!!

Welcome and glad you made the decision to join your husband in coming to the ROK. Besides finding various sources of info on this sites and its links, I would suggest that you find a copy of Culture Shock-Korea. The EUSA AG site has the EUSA Handbook under publications for downloading. That should give you a good idea. There's lots to do. Have fun reading and check out the forum!

Welcome to the site!
You will have a great time. Get out and see the country. Koreans are extremely friendly and Korea is one of the safest countries to live in. The non-command sponsorship thread seems to be helping a lot of people. Please pass it on if you know of anyone else coming to Korea.
