New to the forum, coming to Osan in October
Hi everyone,

We are coming to Osan (Air Force) in October, NCS. We are looking forward to it- it sounds like people love it there. I have a million questions but don't want to ask a bunch of stuff that's been answered a million times- is there someplace I can find answers to all the usual questions about visas, off-base living, etc., etc.?

Hi, Anna!

I'm Dee, welcome to the forum,and the "Brave New World" of NCS! :) I'm a spouse already here NCS, and would highly recommend checking out the NCS thread on the Spouse's Club Forum (I believe that's where it is, anyway... just use the search function and look up Non-Command Sponsored, and you can't miss it! :) )

You'll find tons of information in that thread, and plenty of answers to all your questions.. :) I'm currently working on a file/post that sort of summarizes all the information about the VISAS,etc. but that, unfortunately, hasn't been finished yet, due to us going on vacation...but soon! :) LOL :)

October is a *great* time to be coming to Korea, not too hot, not too cold. and past PCS season. Hopefully, they won't have started the mad exodus yet from Mustang Valley Village so you won't have the sweep of apartments that's bound to occur when it does! :)

Please feel free to ask any of us NCS spouses about anything..we've most certainly *ALL* been just where you're at right now, and will be more than happy to help out. :)
