Introduce myself! LOL! I seemed to have jumped in with both feet

Regarding me, I've been married to my air force guy for almost two years now. We dated in high school, drifted apart, and reunited after 23 years apart. I have one son, age 23, who is currently in graduate school in Dallas.

I've been looking forward to orders to Korea since my hubby and I got together! I visited there for 10 days on his last assignment there and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to call it home for three years!

Regarding my rather abrupt plunge into the forums, well, what can I say? Having raised a teenager or two (we seemed to have taken in some strays along the way LOL), I am the ultimate mom and tend to confront head on. Sometimes that's good, sometimes it's not so good. I do my best to try to behave!


I'm always open to ideas and suggestions, but not the the point of blindly agreeing! I do feel, however, that input from another perspective and from experience can often be beneficial.

Save a date on your calendar, folks! When I get to Korea, we are gonna have to get together!

We need a mom figure to get a get-together going in the near future- previous attempts have been sort of accidental, I think. It won't be easy or practical to have everyone in -country get together often, but it doesn't hurt to make attempts. We have surrogate moms at Osan and Seoul now, to assist in keeping male dominance in check. There are lots of holidays coming up we could work with. Thanks for thinking of us!
