Re: sup
I am new to Korea. I have been chatting on this website for about a month now and asking questions and now I am here. Thanks for all of the useful information Mike and the rest of you. It really helped to know all of this before I got here. I also went to get my Visa at the AMC terminal on Osan AB 5 days after I arrived and it took only about 5 minutes to get it stamped and we were out the door. Thanks again to all of you. ![]() ![]() |

Glad you made it! With a little rest, you will enjoy a new life experience-just remember my old time tested theory- long underwear from November to February! It has worked for me! 32 degrees tonight in Seoul. Listen to your friends at Services and you can't go wrong. I knew the lady for whom the old "Service Center" as we knew it was named-Maggie McPherson. She spent the better part of her life at Osan AFB. She did not stay that long because it was a hardship tour. She stayed because of the people of Korea and of the Air Force. I guarantee you will enjoy it, too!

I am loving it here. I have my house and my household goods came in today. My glasses were broke, but the majority of everything else was ok. My car arrives on Monday and been to a few places already and it is just awesome being here. Have taken soooo many photos and been to so many villages. Doing the DMZ thing at the end of the month. If you are at Osan, you should really take advantage of all the trip ITT and Outdoor Rec have planned. Enjoy and if you need any Services information, please let me know.
