Howdy
Been reading the forums a bit - recalling my time(s) in the Republic - 3x Kunsan and a single at Osan. If I can remember a few good stories, I'll post 'em. Kinda think the Soju did a few of the older, weaker brain cells in.
In deferrence to my sig - I worked at the bowling center from Sept 95 - Sept 97 (part-time) was in COMM while I was stationed there. I was also the intramural league secretary and the Friday Night League sec - anyone remember the KAKKS team? or the Korean Masters Tournament we put on at Yongsan?

We need some fresh blood on the Forum! Welcome! We welcome stories about the old days. Bu I go back too far, (1959-1962) at Osan. No one believes me about the 25 cent haircuts, cokes, beer, and hamburgers. When I got to Honolulu and saw a hamburger and a coke and fries were $3.95 I tried to get a plane right then heading back to Korea! So feel free to try to explain to the new folks that Kunsan was once the center of the universe!
