hello to everyone in the forums,

so like the title says, i just got my orders to osan! im pretty excited.

well you can call me wu, and oh yeah im pretty damn excited to be comming to korea in the next few months. haha, well i am.

so im currently stationed in dover, de. so if anyone has ever lived in delaware you'll probably understand why im sooo excited to be leaving this place.

ive read a few posts tonight and thought that this would be a good place to ask a few Q's and learn about some things.

i was born in seoul and then moved to louisiana shortly after, and i have never been back. so this is my return trip 27 years later.

well thats a little about me. hope to talk to yall soon. i have lots of questions.!

Welcome! I havent been on this site that long but I got some great info so far...I am headed to Yongsan in ealry Aug and I am excited too...I did a tour to Kunsan back in 99-00 and loved it!

Hi and welcome. Never been to Delaware so I have no idea why you want to leave! I am up here in Yongsan but have visited Osan, it's a nice base. We've been here since Jan 07 and will be here til Feb 2010 but we will try to extend a couple more months to May so the kids can finish out the school year.We already extended a year so next Dec/Jan we will have to renew our ration cards and drivers licenses... fun fun. So far it's great here, I will miss Korea when we leave.

thanks for the replies. yes i am in the air force, and everyones telling me that i will want to extend when my one year is up. yeah stay a few for the kids if its possible.
