Hi! My family and I are moving to Osan Air Force Base in 4 short weeks. We're scared, nervous, and yet incrediably excited. I hoping to get as much info about living in Korea (good and bad) from all of you.

Greetings and salutations! Don't be neverous, be aware. Korea is a cool place and mostly misunderstood. There's enough info on the site to assist you. Try the links section and go to the EUSA AG page and look under publications. Their you'll find the EUSA handbook. I know you're going to Osan, however there's decent info about Korea in it. If you have DSL or broadband you'll get it quickly, 56k, you'll be able to watch the part of the 6pm news and weather. That's how long it took me Enjoy the forum!

I spent one year at Osan and it is one of the best bases in the Air Force with a lot to do. I coached the little league baseball team. There is also spouses clubs and even a Chili's on base.
