Speaking Korean
ABSOLUTELY.....I CAN UNDERSTAND AND SAY A FEW SIMPLE PHRASES BUT NOTHING CLOSE TO CARRYING ON A RECOGNIZABLE CONVERSATION...YOU ONLY HAVE TO HAVE AN EDUCATION...

I have a friend that teaches here near Osan and he speaks very little. He has been teaching for over 10 years. He told me that the korean students already have the grammer down, they just need to practice talking.

Teaching English conversation is not difficult for most English native speakers. The hardest part is un-teaching bad habits and poor pronunciation which has been taught by well-meaning Koreans, who are / were themselves unable to pronounce properly.
It is so much easier if you read [한 글] Hangul, but not necessary at all! A college degree will get you more pay, but not more fun. Teach if you can, for free if you will, and I guarantee you will be rewarded! Been there, done that. |
