Re: How did you hear about usfkforums.com?

I finally discovered this site after endless hours of searching online for information on PCS'ing to Osan. Now, I know all the rules (blah, blah, blah) but they still don't answer any of my questions! LOL. Does anyone have a good contact # for a real estate/property manager to help me find a house to rent when I move there? I have 2 HUGE dogs and I don't think Koreans will be used to dogs of that size (1 crazy St. Bernard and 1 mixed Husky-mutt). How far is Camp Humphrey's from Osan? Is it feasible to live in between the two? Are there any rental houses or are they just villas and apartments? How much does the rent usually cost? Should I bring my POV over there? Questions such as these are impossible to get answers to by simply reading the Osan webpage. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Cool Re: How did you hear about usfkforums.com?

Welcome! Getting the dogs over here is easy, but costly. No more quarantining! Getting them from the airport will be under the bus. A Taxi Van might also do it, but expensive for 35 miles or so. You wan't to look at houses or apts later. I'd try to get someone to keep the dogs while I shopped. Osan charges around $20 a day for a dog- plan reservations early.
You other questions are answered on another forum.

Osan '77-78 & '79-82/Base Comm & 6903rd

Been a member for a few years, but my posts/messages/pictures have sappeared. I posted a picture of an old friend Phil Hopps in front of the Base Rec center dated around 1978. Gone. And of an old Yobo. Gone. Must have pissed someone off. So I'm not really a FNG.

Was searching for an old friend whom I later found out was in Nashville, TN.

Ran across another friend in the old Sands Casino in AC about 1995. Only saw her once since then. HA HA!

The D.J. from the Osan Club at the main gate back in '77 & '78 lives here
in Philadelphia! Small world!

Good times in Songtan/Papa Joe's (before and after the move)/Osan Club/Aragon Alley. Curfew during and after Park Chung Hee. Hello to Hwang Suk Hui, Chong Ok Im(Martin), and Kim Suk Hui wherever you are!!!
Reggie(Twin/Older Brother).
