Army wife coming to Korea

Hey everyone,

My husband just got word that he is being sent to Korea; he's in the Army (medical). Chances are, it's probably an unaccompanied tour. But it seems that a lot of spouses move over as non-command sponsored and make it work.

We have two small children, and my husband was away for 10 months last year (on a super-long TDY - long story). We're frankly tired of being away from him, so moving without sponsorship seems preferable to another year apart.

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if this is feasible, and, if so, how I do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome and come on over....their are more spouses over here than you can imagine....

The only thing that worries me is that he is a medic....he can go anywhere in Korea....unless he is a specialist of some sort....but no matter where he goes you can come along and enjoy the year with him
