Thumbs up An old Korean linguist checks-in

Hello to all,

Being here in this forum you already know that I'm new here. What you don't know is that I spent about 12 years total living in Korea working in and around USFK and also living outside the gates of various camps, bases, etc.

I'm now living in the Philippines after a tumultuous life up to this point. . I'm a former sailor and can still swear with the best of them but try not to now that I have a family and especially a soon to be 3-year-old. Well, enough of me for now. I'm glad I found this forum and look forward to getting to know a few of you.

Cool Re: An old Korean linguist checks-in

Hey, sailor! How are things in Angeles City? I'm retired AF, but work for the Army in Seoul. We will still talk to Sailors!
Banannas are 83 cents a pound in the Commissary here! They come from the P.I.; they are second quality most of the time. I buy better ones downtown Seoul cheaper. Just wondered how prices compare there. I'll tell the commissary manager.

12 years here too. Skivvy Niner, maintain the Skivvy Nine list. If you don't know what that is, get in touch with me.
