Just a guess, but probably for bar fining. bar fining has become a new reason for placing clubs off limits in recent times.

BTW, according to the Osan AB sight today, the only SongTan places currently off limits are the REX Bar and AWOL Club.

I have no doubt that one could get a legitimate, non-sexually related massage in SongTan. The Korean massage techiniques are known to be some of the best, and if you can go through the whole, thorough process, it will amaze you at how relaxed you will be afterward. Couldn't tell you which establishments offer the full, legitimate massage experience as I am currently out of country. Ask some of the locals.

Go to the Sports Massage in Songtan. Take a right outside the main gate and it is on the second floor. If you make it to the Lion's Den you have gone too far!

MIKE -- Change title of thread
Both REX and AWOL bars are off limits in Songtan. I'd hate for someone to come across this and then walk into AWOL, although I think it may have shuttered its doors.

jimmyjoe is on top of the bar scene...hmmmm... Seriously, though, the only way to make sure that we are staying out of the off limits areas is to check out THE sites that disseminate the info. Go to http://www.osan.af.mil/ and look on the right side of the page. They have an off limits section and they include all of the other bases on the pen. For sure, though, when I get there, I'm looking jimmyjoe up. I hear he knows all the good spots :-)

Sports Massage moved. I can't remember quite where, I was walking down the main strip last weekend and I wasn't quite paying attention. I know it was down the main strip and it was on your left side if you were heading down the way so that McDonalds was on your left. I think it was just a little past or before Baskin Robbins. It is on the second floor though. I highly reccomend Sports Massage. They don't charge more than they should in my opinion and afterwards you'll feel very relaxed =]
